Lost Health Insurance and Need Alternative to Effexor

by personanongrata, Aug 07, 2009 05:29PM
I am currently on Effexor XR 150MG twice a day. I also sometimes have to use Clonaxepam 1/2 mg before bedtime in order to try and get to sleep. Also Aprazolam once a day as needed.

The issue is I was just laid off and I need to fine a generic alternaive to Effexor XR the current generic for it it still too expensive for my budget.

I there anything in the SSRI class that you would recommened that i can start transition to? I only have about 2 weeks left of the Effexor and im starting to worry that the come down off of it is going to be very harsh.

Thanks

You should find about every available health care option. Also there is the Patient Assistance Program which can provide a variety of medications for free from the company. You could find out more about health care options at your local independent living center:

Why not Generic Effexor XR? It comes in a generic now.
