Low WBC Count, Mouth Sores and Remeron?

Has anyone had (if taken Remeron) a low WBC count? I noticed some small white painless (somewhat) sores popping up in mouth after being on Remeron for a couple of months. My Psych ordered blood work and showed my WBC count to be slightly low (3.5) and had me drop from 45 mg to 22.5 mg. It went back up to within normal range (4.2). I decided to wean myself off of the rest of the Remeron by taking 11.25 last night. Just wondering if anyone has actually heard of this happening. I know it is a very rare side effect with this drug. I also heard this can happen with Cymbalta too...

I have been on both Remeron and Cymbalta and I never had problem with my WBC.

My side-effects from Remeron is sore mouth when I wake up, lethargy, hypersomnia and severe constipation. On Cymbalta I had no side-effect. Switching back to Cymbalta ASAP.

Doctor stopped the Remeron. He said I would be the first patient he's had with this complaint in 20 years. It might not be the Remeron, but he said it is keeping me from  benefits of taking it. I guess I'm obsessing about it (he's implying). So now he upped my Celexa to 30 mg and gave me trazadone to take as needed for sleep. I never had mouth sores until a month after being on the Remeron. So we'll see what happens in the next month or so (I'm still waiting on my new WBC count from the doctor. Thanks for writing back. You always reply to my quarky posts :)
