Meds messed up..help please

I have been on every depression med it seems!! I was on wellbutrin 300 mg/day and 1 zoloft/day as well as xanax xr 4 mg/day.I felt the xanax was too high, so I was cut off that and put on pristiq zoloft cut off toatlly and down to 150 mg wellbutrin/day.All this while trying to figure out why my pain meds no longer work for me.My tolerance is too high for them (duh...been on them for about 20 years with no increase of dosage!!).No doc will put me on different pain meds and as a result i've had to try to find 1 that will adjust them.So I'm even more depressed cuz I feel like a addicted pill-popper-I just want my pain to be relieved,not gone (that will never happen I know).ANyhelp out there?Suggestions/ideas please??I am soo depressed I'm ready to 2quit my meds all together.

I am so sorry to hear of all the pain ur suffering...its so easy to give up and become depressed or worsening of depression when in pain, I think both need to be gotten under control 4u. I am not of much help, but there are many who can better answer your pain questions...u could try some answers to possible addiction worries and pain over on the forum....pain management community
