Today, my friend who by the way was decreasing on Efexor, and not doing very well deceasing, had a nervous break down for lack of a better word and we (her husband and I) ended up having to take her to a mentalMental retardation Mental status tests health hospital. During the intake she let us know that she has had thoughts of suicideSuicide and suicidal behavior. She said that sometimes she feels like crashing her car into a wall. Now this is a voluntary mentalMental retardation Mental status tests health facility and the intake nurse said that the average stay is 4-7 days. Has anyone been in a place like this and what should i expect the treatment to be and how can I best help her through this and get her back on her feet.
Thanks for your help,
Christy
