Generally, Wellbutrin helps when SSRIs like Prozac cause a decrease in sexual desire.

Yes I understand that from what my doctor said, but my question is has anyone done this or know how long it would take thanks for the info though.

I've read that wellbutrin takes about 4 weeks to fully kick in, and that it may counteract the sexual dysfunction caused by a straight SSRI such as prozac. It is worth noting that wellbutrin is a reuptake inhibitor for dopamine and noradrenaline (also called norepinephrine), but not for serotonin. Prozac is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor.

Because both are antidepressants, if your reason for taking prozac is depression, then I wonder whether taking wellbutrin as your only antidepressant might be a better approach. Don't try this without doctor advice though, as prozac can take a few weeks to clear out of your system after you stop using it. At least worth asking your doctor for their opinion.

As always, I am not a doctor so please do not take this as professional advice. Good luck.

Just wanted to elaborate on my previous post.  You mention that you "can not have sex . . . its just impossible pretty much."  Wellbutrin can increase sexual desire, but doesn't generally does NOT improve sexual function.  Does that distinction make sense?
