Need to get my head straight

Ive been depressed since 1998 when my brother commit suicide but thought i healed, i got mental help and i was okay till now, Im in dept up to my ears i have to find some where to live with my 7 year old son and an juggling 2 realtionships at once. Im currently broken up with my ex of 4 years but we are still living together and my new boyfriend just broke up with his girlfriend of 5 years, now he needs his space and i cant deal with it cause all i want to do is be with him and hear from him, i love him. Ive recently started to become depressed and starting getting my temper back, punching things to relieve stress and just being plain depressed, hating life. What can i do to keep myself sane, and to give my boyfriend the space he needs and let me go crazy in the head? All i can think of is hurting myself but not to the death, i could never do that.

It sounds like you could use some talk therapy to learn how to deal with things out of your control. If you have a pattern of depression, even which you didn't notice, you may but not always need a medication. I would set up an app't with your doctor, to get a referral to a psychiatrist. Hurting yourself in any way is not good, regardless of suicidal thoughts or not. I'm going to ask you a sensitive question, do you need a relationship or want one?  two different things. You new boyfriend needs his space to heal, and you sound like you need him too much, you don't want to be the rebounder, I suspect you need some space too.

I hope you can get some talk therapy asap, you have pent up anger, which can find a better outlet for, and ways to cope.
