I was said to me 4 yrs ago the my daughter who is now almost 9 yrs old has bipolar and let me say I have struggled and dont know what to do anymore and am looking for anyone that can help me. i have her seeing a psychiatirst and councelors, this poor little girl was molested when she was 5 and she talks about sex and acts premiscuis alot she has made passes at my current fiance and she also lies cumpulsilvley when she feels she needs to be the center of attention, she thinks no one likes her and everyone else gets treated better then her on every given day and all situations, its impossible to talk to her she doesnt listen and she is a child so of course she feels she has all the answers, i dont know what to do at this point but I WONT give up on her....she says things she doesnt mean and when she lies and comes back to reality she is very remorseful i wish i could help her from feeling this way. she also has reactive attachmnt disorder which makes her trust herself more then anyone and she has absolutly NO stranger danger.....some body anybody help us help her PLEASE!!!!!!! i have realized no matter what punishment i use it doesnt work and talking doesnt either she is in 3rd grade and has her 2nd refural for misbehavior and finds it very hard to keep friends, i dont know what to do anymore and just need help to try and understand, i also have a 6yr old son and my parenting is very effective with him so im just at a loss and the councelors are doing nothing to help me help her.......
