Normal to feel subtle depression on a period?

I kind of feel depressed, or easily upset on my period. Its cause of hormones right? *major sigh*

Please tell me. I also have subtle OCD nothing major though.

Yes, yes, yes!  My periods kept me depressed and nuts for years.  I finally got relief when I went thru menopause.  I could really feel myself calm down.  The Dr. put me on a hormone patch and after a month I ripped it off and said NO.  I started feeling the ups and downs again and hated it.  There are possible supports.  You might talk to your doctor and see what might be possible.

It's not uncommon to feel depressed before and during your period. Your hormones are fluctuating so much.
