Overdose

Can someone give me either the symptoms or the timeline for an Ibuprofen overdose? And what's going to happen if I don't get treatment? I've taken approx. 40 200mg ibuprofen tablets, 32 hours ago.

Thanks, but I'm afraid you've taken this the wrong way.
I'm here to see if I need to take more, if I'm just going to be in agony for the next couple of hours, or if I just screwed up my stomach for nothing.

Reasons as to why I did this--- I was already depressed at 13. I'm bulimic, have a firm belief that the world isn't worth living for, anxietic, and get major mood swings.

Please don't start on religion. There's a quote in the Bible that's been confusing me for a while - 'Those who love their life, lose it, but those who hate their lives in this world will keep it in life eternal.'

Hopefully you are still around and did call poison control or go to the hospital.

About that Bible passage. My interpretation of it is that when you love life, this world and all that is in it; appreciate it for what it is, we move on away from this physical plane after death. Flip side, if we hate life, ourselves, the world now and our exhistance, we will find ourselves exactly in the same place after death - in other words, no moving on, no change, we will still find ourself hating our life eternally - forever - until we learn to love what ever comes our way. For me acceptance plays a huge role in finding love wherever I find my self..

Personally I find a great amount of peace through acceptance of what life seems to throw my way. I find more and more, love reaches out and touches me in a greater way during my hardest struggles when I give over and stop resisting them and accept them making the way to move through the hard times quicker and easier than if I had stayed trapped in the resistance, anger, judgement or whatever it was that blocked my path through the hard time/situation.  Acceptance, no resistance, no judgement, and poof a way out to a better day.

First, Zephi, I truly hope you went to the ER, called poison control or at the very least told someone close to you about the number of pills you took. That many Ibuprofen can damage your kidneys.

Rliz, I am not religious either and was interpreting the passage Zephi quoted and how it related to my life and the experiences I have had. That's all.

Zephi - Please, pleae go to someone and let them know what is going on with you.

Namaste,

As you can tell your call for help hasn't gone unanswered. There are people who care about you.

If you haven't already done so, go to the local ER and talk to someone.

Michael
