You might also try some really safe natural remedies -- ginger is one you've tried, but aloe vera juice and homeopathic remedies might help. Problem is, treating the symptom won't make the cause of the problem go away. Hope you find the cause.
I have tried so many different drugs......either they quit working or didn't work or the side effects were awful. Trying Zofran now to see if I can help combat the nausea. THANKS!
I would suggest taking it at a different time. For one thing, it's not so good to go to bed right after eating, so snacking at bedtime isn't a great idea. You can also divide the dose -- that's what I had to do on Paxil because it was so sedating. Never had nausea from it, but you should know that these meds use the same pathway into the brain as magnesium and so can leach magnesium out of your body. That might be the problem, might not. If you take the Paxil earlier in the day, you can try taking magnesium before bedtime, and see if that helps, but you can't take magnesium at the same time because they will block one another from being absorbed. As for your diet, not a terrible idea, because Paxil can be a real big weight gainer! Personally, I'd try a different drug, because Paxil is so difficult to take and stop taking, but you're already on it and would have to taper off it very slowly. Bummer for you.
