Is your father seeing a physician for these problems?  If not, please suggest that he do so.  You can go along with him as a support for him.  Tell him you are worried about him, and think he should possibly consult a doctor.  Is there a family doctor who could talk with him first?  Someone he trusts?  If so, that doctor will be able to give you and your father some names of good psychiatrists who might be able to diagnose his problems and treat him accordingly with the proper medication.  If you don't have a family doctor, there are always doctors at hospitals in your area who specialize.  The important thing is to let your father know that you care, and want to see him feeling his best.  Good luck, and keep in touch.
