Positive thinking ~~~~ how do you do it?
Hey everyone,

New here and hoping for some opinions, personal experience and STORY TELLING!

What are your positive thinking/activities that help you fight depression or anxiety. I usually PC game, however, even this isn't distracting my negative outlook or thoughts. So I'm hoping to find a "holy grail" of positive thinking....

ABOUT ME: Not medicated. I don't have a large friend group (hence). Really struggling to continue this facade. Increasingly finding myself close off yet, desperately wanting help. Trouble eating, not because of aesthetics. Just depression..... I think.

This is what CBT tries to instill in you.  Try to find a therapist who specializes in this form of therapy and give it a try.

In all honesty, I use prayer. I pray quite often and read the bible to help calm me during periods of severe anxiety and/or depression.
