Psychotic?

I have battled depression off and on for many years and take meds when I go through it.  I have been on WellbutrinXL 300 for a couple months.  I am also having serious marital problems, perimenapausal, and having trouble sleeping when I have never had this problem before.  This is my background.

My husband's history:  He came from a physically and verbally abusive home.  He has a relative who is schitzophrintic and a grandparent who commited suicide.  I feel he is verbally, emotionally, and mentally abusive himself.

I am having short term memory loss and also feel like I am having deja vu.  I now question everything wondering if it did happen or not but I do not hear voices and am not suicidal.  I KNOW FOR CERTAINTY that he had been harrassing me wanting me to question my stability and he has the assistance of a friend and relative.  He came right out and asked me recently if I was having physological problems when I mentioned something he had done to me that I KNOW he did.  I am so confused, wondering if I do have a problem or if he is causing the problem.  I have limited financial resources and do not know where to go for help or if I am the one who needs it or if I would need a phycologist or phyciatrist.  Am I the crazy one or is he bringing this on as a way to keep control over me where I will question myself?

Namaste,

The history you provided is somewhat simplipied compared to the history and evaluation you would get from a professional mental health provider.

Based upon what you've said, however, I would think that there are psychological issues on the part of both of you and that you need to deal with them as a couple or individually.

For those with limited income, most(if not all) communities have resources available that are either free or a sliding scale depending on the particulars' of the individual.

Your quality of life is apparently not what it should be and it's not going to fix itself, so take whatever action is necessary to seek the help you need.
