Remeron Withdrawal or New Med?

I was taking Remeron for about 2 1/2 months and it seemed that it was not working enough for the depression and anxiety so the doctor last Thursday switched me to Zoloft. I felt great the first couple of days but on Day 4 of not taking the Remeron but the Zoloft I started having chills, sweats, tingling, urinary problems, loss of appetite, and trouble sleeping. Do you think it is the Remeron withdrawals? I put a call into my doctor but she has not called me back yet. Do you know if they will last long if they started me on another antidepressant?

I think it is the Zoloft causing your problems. Zoloft can interrupt the sleep and it can make you feel sick
call your doctor and get off the Zoloft

I was having trouble sleeping so the doctor is keeping me on the Remeron but only 7.5 mg and the Zoloft. Was good to sleep last night but still feel out of it since I am adjusting to Zoloft and the lower dosage of Remeron. Can't wait to feel normal again.

Not sure what your dosage and daily intake was but it does indeed sound like withdrawal symptoms. They shouldn't last over a month, but tell your doctor and let her make a professional diagnosis. Best wishes!

Yes it was probably the Remeron withdrawal. Remeron was increasing your appetite and making you sleep better since it's sedative. So it's all good indicators it is the withdrawal from Remeron.

You can expect progressive reliefs over the period of maximum 4 weeks.
