Remeron and Prozac

Hi all,

I have been on 15mgs Remeron for about 2 months now.  It was perscribed for me to help me with my Paxil withdrawls (which it did)  About 3 1/2 weeks ago I started on Prozac and my doc told me to stay on the Remeron for a while longer. I'm now ready to come off of the Remeron.  I've read were Remeron is one of the easier drugs to come off of.... also were I am now on Prozac would it be unlikely that I would suffer any severe withdrawls from the Remeron?

I used to take Remeron also. I would say that it was the one antidepressant that gave me the least withdrawl (withdrawal).

I had to get off that Remeron because the weight gain on that drug is HUGE. It makes Paxil look like a diet pill. I always tell people, if you want to get fat then just take Remeron.

Remeron is well known for it's ability to add massive pounds even on a paltry diet.
