SSRI withdrawal

I''ve been diagnosed with depression about 6 months ago. At that time I was experiencing dizziness, DP/DR, headaches and some other symptoms, my doctor prescribed me Cipralex and told me to continue the treatment for 6 months, at the time that I was taking Cipralex I was feeling better although the dizziness and DP didn't go away. So 3 weeks ago I stoped the treatment but I keep getting these brain shocks, it feel like as if i have an electric shock in my brain every 2-3 hours. This is really annoying because when I get these shocks I get completely confused and it takes 10-20 seconds to "come back" to reality. Could these shocks be due to the escitalopram withdrawal or could it be something more serious ?
