Sad all the time

Lately, I've been thinking that I just want to die. I don't want to kill myself or hurt myself but I wish that I would die. Does that mean that I'm suicidal or that I could become suicidal?

Hey....I'm sooo sorry ur feeling this way...I KNOW where u are now i was there too about 10 days ago, and when I realized how depressed I had become (laying in bed at night and thinking it would be such a relief to just die in my sleep and never wake up) i got scared and then I got ANGRY.....I was angry at myself for allowing my despair to beat me down this way.  I then used my fear and anger to go to the Dr to get help....because...just like you, i was not suicidal but if I allowed myself to continue not doing anything about it...i may have become suicidal.  I suffer from severe depression and anxiety among other things.  I started my meds 10 days ago, still waiting for them to take full effect but I'm starting to feel a little better.  I know it's not easy, you are not alone. Everyone here has been or is currently feeling like you are now.  If you haven't yet, please see a Dr. as soon as you can.  In the meantime, use your happiest memories to give u a reason to hang on.  Life was beautiful once.....it can and will be again....hang in there and God Bless.

If ur having constant thoughts of wishing u would die then you do need help.  It could very well turn into plans of suicide or even attempting suicide.  Get help before it gets to this point.
