Seasonal Depression?

Seasonal Depression?

Every spring since my baby was born (3 yrs ago) I feel like I'm coming out of a fog when the weather warms up and the sun shines more.  The "fog" creeps up so gradually, I don't realize it's there.  I found out I was pregnant in April and felt MUCH better, almost giddy.  I recently lost the baby.  I'm coping well.  Could this be a seasonal depression?  If so, are there any natural remodies that might help?

Sounds like classical Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).  This is a mood disorder when depressive symptoms begin in winter and fade when spring rolls around.  Light therapy during winter seems to work well for a lot of people.  I would do some reasearch and see a professional counselor/psychologist who will be able to help with treatment options.
Good luck,
Em

I agree it could be Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).  Losing your baby could also be a contributing factor.  Have heard they have lights that make a room look like the sun is shining when it's not.  Even have baseball hats with these lights that you can wear outside if it's a dull, gray day.

Hi,
I suffer with depression and lethargy which is definately brought about by the weather, lack of light.
I recently purchased a Lumie Lamp, which has lifted my mood no end.
