So sleepy

Hi , please somebody answer me or give me an advice, i am too sleepy all the time, but the sleep medicine doct. tested me and he told me didn't find narcolepsy and none of the others sleep illnes, so can be my exsecive sleepy a symptom of depresion?

If your mood is depressed then yes some people can sleep 12 or more hours due to being depressed. But if you don't have the other symptoms of depression then i doubt it is depression.
Depression symptoms include: Changes in sleeping, eg to much or not enough, changes in appetite, eg eating heaps, or not eating at all. Low in mood, feeling sad, hopelessness, worthlessness, helplessness, fatigue and no energy, low motivation, loss of enjoyment even from activity's once enjoyed. suicidal thoughts. lack of concentration.

When i get depressed i can sleep like 18 hours a day easily.
Other reason for day time sleepiness can be chronic fatigue syndrome, Fibromyalgia, or some types of medications have sleepiness as a side effect.
