St John's Wort and Wellbutrin
Is it ok to combine St. Johns Wort or SAM-e with Wellbutrin?  The former both work on serotonin while Wellbutrin doesn't.  I know lots of people take Wellbutrin with an SSRI, maybe this can save me a prescription.  Any insight is appreciated.

While I could say: Try a few days and see how you feel, your MD might say something else. Doublecheck it with your prescriber please, just to be on the safe side. What I understand, buproprion is not inhibiting serotonin-uptake...

Hopefully, others with more medical insight can help out here. I'd kep a thumb on the physician that prescribed the Wellbutrin.
