Strange Effexor side effects?

Hi, i´ve been on Effexor for almost a year. Let me tell you my story and ask you if you´ve had similar problems.
My doctor and I tried several medications until we found that Effexor and Prozac were the right mix for me. I can´t complain because after 2 years with major depression, I found something that helped. However, in the meantime I´ve become allergic to peanuts and ibuprofen. I have asthma and allergies since I was a child, but I was never allergic to those items until a few months back.
Then, I had a routine blood test and found something scary, my neutrophil count was extremely low. I was feeling ok, but my doctor said I was at high risk of getting a deadly infection. However, nobody knew why I had this problem. The hematologist said I had to stop taking effexor and prozac to check if those medications were the cause of my problem.
I'm off prozac for a while now and I'm getting off Effexor now (which is a terrible experience) and want to know if somebody had similar problems to mine. We are suspecting an autoimmune disorder also, bur so far the doctors have discarded most of them.

No i would say you are the only person, i believe these kind of problem are common with these types of medication.

Thank you for your answer, it seems that I'm not the only one with this kind of problems. Well, I´m off Effexor since last saturday and I'm getting a new blood test today to see if my blood tests are getting normal.
The withdrawal symptoms are killing me now, however...

Not on those medications but after starting lithium and Seroquel i have had symptoms similar to fibromyalgia and Lupus although i have been tested for Lupus and i don't have it. the doctors are still out on fibromyalgia though. I started on these medications when i was 17 so it might be something other caused by medication but i  have wonder a few times, i started getting problems about 2 or 3 months after starting the medications, such as I now have Asthma and Hayfever and i had never had it before, I get pain through out my body, weakness, digestive problems etc, it is slightly different to your problem but it is possible at these medications can mess with your body.
Nothing was proven to blame the medication in my case and i am still on them but i think it is possible.
