Sun Rash with use Of Effexor xl

Hiya
Never used this before but wondered if anyone knows what to do.
I have been on Effexor XL Venalflaxine for a few years now and have never had any problems in the sun, been abroad any times whilst aking, but last year I starting getting an itchy rash everytime I go in the sun!!
I can only prosume that it is the medication! It is awful and yhis is addig to my anxiety and panic attacks because I drea the weather being sunny!!!
Also I get married in Sept and will look horrendous if I go bright red and itchy
PLEASE HELP!!
Went to G.P who didn't help and just told me to cover up - obvously that is not a solution.
