Switched from Lexapro to Cymbalta...don't like it.

I have been taking Lexapro for years. It def kept the depression away, but I was very "lax" about everything. Still better than the "angry" me. My doctor switched me over to Cymbalta a month ago and I"m not liking the feeling. I take it in the morning but by 5ish, I'm shaky ... I am having thought and feelings I havent had in many years and I want to switch back to the Lexapro. I also take 1mg of Clanozapam in the morning. As of today, I did not take the Cymbalta and am going to go back to the Lexapro tomorrow. Any thought?

Cymbalta is a very stimulating antidepressant.  Lexapro isn't.  But I wouldn't quit abruptly, I'd do it more slowly.

I was on Cymbalta, which did nothing for me. I've actually been on most of meds. and Effexor is the best if your dealing with depression and anxiety. I also take Clonazepam, but I deal with high levels of anxiety. Effexor for me has no side effects.
