You mean starting at 37.5Mgs a day, then going to 75Mgs a day?

Effexor XR doen't come in 70Mg form.

I think it's a good choice. I know I found Effexor to be a ton more effective than Celexa.

Side effects are no worse than with Celexa.

Expect it to take a good long while at 75Mgs a day before the Effexor starts working. Up to 6 weeks.

When I went from Celexa to Effexor gained 30 pounds.  I have finally got off of Effexor, which is very hard to get off.  I'm now on Zoloft and the weight is slowly coming off.

Wow! 30Lbs from Effexor?

I never gained a pound on Effexor. Now I take Remeron.... Warning: Don't take Remeron unless you want to be fat. It is the king daddy of weight gain antidepressants.

You could be built like a bean pole with the metabolism of a jack Rabbit and still gain huge pounds with Remeron. It makes Effexor look like a diet pill.

My stomach feels upset with a bit of the scoots. Started up the 75mg today, I feel alot more energetic in the am but seems to fade away later on in the afternoon.
