Ugh. Can't Move.

Ugh. Can't Move.

Not sure if it is depression or thyroid disease, but I can't move! It takes sooo much effort..  I hope Cymbalta is not failing me, I have had zero side affects with it thus far!

I have learned over the last 10 years waiting for something to work is not the answer! Eating what is right for you, and taking vitamins will naturally perk up you mood!  A lot of things are "mind over matter".  Ty accepting change and trying to be happy and see where that gets you..

What do you mean you can't move? are you paralyzed? or are your muscles stiff and sore to move? or are you catatonic?
How long has it been happening?
I think you shoudl talk to your doctor as i don't think that is normal. and that must be interfering a lot with your life. it is important to find out whats causing  it and help get it back to normal.

azazeleek, i have been eating healthy, exercising, and taking vitamins since age 18.. have to be careful what you read, genes is a big part too of the equation too.

thanks, freddie, I will talk it over with my psychiatrist next appointment. my thyroid is unbalanced again, so I am waiting for the blood work to give me the ok again :(

to be more specific, my muscles and joints are so fatigued and tired, it takes much effort to do anything, and very exhausting... i would like doctors to investigate further, however, clinical depression is much more serious than i originally thought.. and my doctor's are quick to write any exhaustion off as part of clinical depression.

I agree that doctors sometimes don't take psychical illness seriously and put it down to psychological factors. So maybe it would be good to talk to a normal GP doctor for a second opinion rather than talking to a psychiatrist as they are there for mental health and probably wont see past mental health things. If you can get your thyroid back to normal and the muscles and joints don't feel better i would definitely see a local GP to get a psychical check over and make sure that it isn't something psychically wrong to rule that out.

Best of luck.
