Last year when I went thru a major depression I sought the help of a naturopath. She recommended 4,000 iu of Vitamin D and Fish Oil as two supplements that help with depression. I started on both and I do think they helped. If you stay within the normal dosages, I don't think it could hurt. Give it a try and see what it does for you. Good luck.
