Weaning off of Zoloft

by Dee513, Mar 27, 2008 08:31PM
I have been on Zoloft 150mg for about 3 1/2 years due to GAD and depression.  I am now feeling quite well and even started my own business.  I seem to have gained about 15 pounds during this time as well.  I would like to begin weaning myself off of the Zoloft to help get my normal weight back and the fact that my life is different and better than it was then.  What is the best way to do this?  My doctor is in Florida which is where I have moved from.  I thought maybe 100mg everyday for 2 weeks, then 50mg for 2 weeks and then 50mg every other day for a week and then be done???  Does that sound like a decent gradual decline??
