Whats going on with me?

Hi, Im a healthy 27 year old female, however over the last 3 mnths I have felt like I'm going crazy. I have been feeling extremely anxious throughout the day, have been feeling low or flat most of the time, have a foggy head, not being able to concentrate for long, forgetting my train of thought and racing thoughts (although this has calmed down now). I feel like Im not myself as if Im looking at the world in a completely different way and now starting to have panic attacks and agitation.

I originally thought that I may be stressed or suffering from depression although I feel the syptoms (symptoms) came on too suddenly to be any of the above. I have in the past suffered from panic attacks but hae had them under control for the last 2 years.

I have had 3 blood tests carried out by my GP and my TSH level came back as 0.13 and my t4 as 16.3 to which my doctor says the tsh level is slightly low and my t4 level is normal. Looking back over my medical history I have visited the doctors about feeling overl tired and was told im doing too much (uni and a part time job) I am always cold and always have freezing hands and feet, I have extremely itchy eyes and over the past 3 months my weight has dropped considerably, my stool has fluctuated between constant diahorrea and constipation. Im awaiting my tpo results but am feeling anxious about the outcome as Im having difficulty understanding what is happening to me. Can anyone help?

Im just this second back from the doctor and she says my antibody test came back normal so that would indicate I don't have anything wrong with my thyroid and that the low tsh level was probably due to a cold or viral infection. she hasn't examined me physically and Im at the end of my tether and can't see a way out....can anyone help?

I'm sorry your going through all this. You may be suffering from anxiety disorder and it is effecting the way your whole bady feels. Have you spoken to a Physc Dr yet? I would go get a full evaluation and see what they say. Sometimes our brains get sick like as if our body get's the flu. And we may need some med's to help us through it. Or just councling.

I wish you the best,

Jmana
