Wrist pain from low antidepressant dose?

by lowtech, Feb 06, 2007 12:00AM
Both of my wrists/hands suffer from tenosynovitis (like tendonitis, but a doctor told me this is what they call it when they don't really know what's going on,) for 16 months. I've tried quite a few things, including the poor worker's comp care the worker's comp agency sent me to.

I'm changing doctors and a hand surgeon I saw (not for surgery, he's sending me elsewhere) said that too low of a dose of antidepressants can lead to arm pain. I'm on 20 mg of Paxil (an SSRI) for depression and anxiety. However, I'm not seeing this doctor again as he's referred me elsewhere and now I can't find any more information on antidepressant dosage being linked to lower arm pain. Does anyone know anything or have any resources?

Thanks!
