I am seeking the same help:( I can NOT get off xanax.I tried number of times and failed.
Now my doctor doesn't want to prescribe it,(new doctor),after my other doctor prescribed it for 6 yrs.I am so upset its uncanny:(

benzos are the hardest drug to get off ..0.5 mgs isint alot to me..and you it might put you asleep..but all this dont matter..we AL detox in the hardest way..the best way is to go threw a dockter..still going to go threw alot..i talked to a person on here said it took him over 1 yr to get off 4mgs xanax aday..that my dose..good luck..james
