Zoloft Questions

I started Zoloft 50mg 10 days ago and switched to 100mg 2 days ago on advise from my doc. Since starting 100mg I have been having perpetual anxiety problems. Is this a normal side effect? Also foggy headed most of the day until about 10 hours after taking meds then I feel almost normal. I take meds in the am since I can't sleep much if taken in pm. Do these symptoms sound familiar to anyone? Iam on meds for depression and anxiety attacks. One more thing, my hands are always sweaty.

This isn't uncommon. The first 6 to 8 weeks on any new medication can be a period of adjustment. These symptoms shold pass my the 7th week or so. If not make sure to tell your doctor.

Theraputic dosages for Zoloft (Sertraline) range from 50 to 200Mgs a day, with 100 to 150 per day being the average dosage most people find relief from.
