Zoloft withdrawls and dental work

by Anchoragechick, Sep 19, 2008 08:28PM
I was on zoloft 100mg for about 2 years and just took my last 25mg pill last night(gradually weened over 2 months) I stopped taking it because my dentist said I was killing my teeth by grinding so bad and it was likely caused by the zoloft and my dr aggreed and we decided to try me on nothing since things were getting better anyway.

Once I started lowering my dose I started having even more dental problems. Over the past 2 months Ive had 4 fillings fall out and a bridge Ive had for 3 years now wont stay one and Ive had to have it recemented 4 times. Ive also been getting cold sores one right after the other since I started lowering my dose.

Is there a link between the zoloft withdrawls and my recent dental problems or is it all coincidental?
