Hi
Your brain is trying to deal with the increase it does not like sudden changes and that is what is effecting you. I'm so sorry you felt suicidal, it could have something to do with going back on it even after so long your brain remembers the drug and this could have triggered a bad effect on you. The medical profession will not except the terrible effects these drugs can have on people.
I see you are from Manchester we have a support group called Cita in Liverpool we meet on a Monday evening at 6.30 pm at Litherland out of hours medical centre till 8.30. They are the experts on it and it may help you to ring 0151-932-0102 the helpline they are wonderful people and will explain things to you.
Apparently people who have been on valium and then come off and have it when in hospital
will experience withdrawals again.
I do hope this has helped you understand a little, you are not going mad remember that!
Tell me how your getting on !
Love
Lorraine xx
