I'm pretty restless right now. can't sleep.
Tried Chamomile. Doesn't help

Is there something safe that works?

I'm pretty sure it's a side effect from the welbutrin I'm on.

There are a variety of options as regards medications that are sleep aides but some can't be taken everyday because a person can build up a tolerance to them. Natural remedies generally don't work. One good option you could ask your psychiatrist about is the medication Rozerem which works to adjust the sleep cycle and is safe and non addictive. There are other options as well but that's one worth asking about. Also it might be a simple matter of timing. If a medication keeps you awake at night you could ask your psychiatrist if you could take it earlier in the day and see if that helps. Discuss all this with them and see what they say.

Go back to your doctor, you're inability to sleep is from your medication not being strong enough, or it may need to be changed.  Don't randomly add sleeping aids while on any medication of this type, very dangerous.

Rozerum is actually a chemical that your body makes on it's own but due to yur meds the production of this may have dropped. The chemical is called Melatonin. You can buy melatonin at any vitamin store in sublingual pill form. I take Effexor and have found Melatonin quite helpful.

There have been concerns about the safety of melatonin from what I know so Rozerem being an FDA approved medication in that in works in the same manner but is a known quantity is a better option. I was precribed Rozerem a while back to use as needed and I do so responsibly but it hasn't been in a long time. It can if directed by a psychiatrist be used every day to work to adjust the sleep cycle and has been helpful for some people I know in that regard.
