I started zoloft about 17 days ago. I felt my energy improve for two days and then I couldn't get to sleep since I was not used to going to sleep with my energy level high. The next day I felt horrible. Low energy, couldn't concentrate etc.I slept ok last night but still feel very weak. If Zoloft works won't you start feeling better consistently. I really can't afford to keep feeling so fatigued.
Hang in there. You may want to try taking your Zoloft in the mornings. That might make sleeping a bit easier.
It not uncommon to feel worse before you feel better with these SSRI meds.
Give it at least another two weeks and then see if you feel better. Sometimes the body just needs a good month or so to adjust to the medication.
