I have been taking Effexor for about 4 months now, I have no emotions, so my psych has switched me to Sertraline.  What if any are the side effect during the transition?

Since your switching from one antidepressant to another, the withdrawl you get from the Effexor should be much less that a person going cold turkey off of all antidepressant drugs.

Effexor is an SNRI and perhaps in your case the Norephinepherine action of the Effexor was just a little too much for you. Sertraline (Zoloft) is simply an SSRI and you may find it a little less stimulating than the Effexor.
