cymbalta and weight changes???

My doctor just prescribed me cymbalta and i was wondering if anyone had any major weight changes... especially weight gain.

I have been taking Cymbalta and Xanax at the same time for more than a year.  In fact, I lost almost 30 lbs.  Don't think negative.  I think it depends.  Some gain and sone lose weight...not sure why...

We all react to these meds differently, but having been on Cymbalta I never gained or lost weight.

My sister started taking Cymbalta for Fibromyalgia and her appetite dropped a lot, and just a few months later she was pre-diabetic.  I have read some other people's comments saying that going on or even going off of cymbalta has really messed up their blood sugar.  some people even say that it made them diabetic.  so if you are on cymbalta, just watch out for some of the pre-diabetes symptoms and tell your doctor about any weird eating habit changes that happen.

I've been on cymbalta for about 2 weeks and have lost about 5 lbs but i have major irritability! and some, maybe just a  little rage...i'm usually slow to anger and laid back but not anymore....going to my dr tomorrow....goodluck

I have been on it for 3 months and gained 10 pounds.  It also has been hard to lose the weight I gained.  I watch my caloires and exercise and nothing has helped.
