depression or hormones?

Well I'm 14 going on 15 and over the last 5 years I've felt useless and been having sleeping problem (sometimes staying up for 48 hours) my grades have been dropping from A's to C's to D's and I've felt like suicide and cutting is the only way to deal. I've been crying almost everyday. According to people I've know before all this I used to be happy and never burst into anger or sadness before. Should I get a test done from all the symptoms?

The best thing to do is to talk a professional, in my experience teenaged years are the hardest u have so much hormones and so much on ur plate and it can be difficult and if it is indeed hormones it may develope into serious depression so the best thing to do is to deal with it from early on.

Have a nice day sweetie!

It sounds like more than just hormones - I strongly advise you to seek professional help.  Your OB-Gyn or pediatrician should be able to help you sort out things and get you back on track.  Do yourself a favor and see someone right away.

I think it would be a good idea and even if you don't go for a test ask for a referral from your school for a Councillor or someone professional who can help you talk through your issues
