I have been suffering from insomnia for the past three years.I have been on several different ssri without any success.Last year I was on celexa did not help with my insomnia.I was then prescribed Mirtazepine it helped for a short time until my body got used to the drug.I then went privately to the psychiatrist he prescribed me Trazadone 150mg this was the  worsted ssri that the doctor prescribed me,after consulting my doctor he asked me to get off them immediately,I weaned myself off them gradually to 25mg this took me 14 weeks. After that the 25mg did not work for me at all however I persisted another three weeks and then I stopped.I bought in the meantime a herbal mineral tablets called "Ultimate anxiety Relief" the first month I was not that bad with my sleep but for the past three weeks all of a sudden nothing is working for me my insomnia has returned. Please can you tell me how long withdrawal symptoms last? I am extremely desperate to alleviate my insomnia.I have also been taking Zopiclone for the past three years.I constantly keep waking up every two hours sharp. Not to take any more zopiclone i also take Kalms if I wake up which not always helps. I am at this moment of time in despair and very tired and moody. Please, please can you advise me what to do.I have an open relationship with my doctor and he has also said that ssri do not work for me but he has run out of ideas what to give me to relive my insomnia.I have had all sorts of test to see what may cause this problem,  which have come back negative. The last three months I have also been diagnosed with Fibromalagia (fibromyalgia) which he suspects has been bought by insomnia.

Insomnia is the worst thing.  It makes getting on with your day completely impossible.

The only thing that stops my insomnia is low dose anti psychotic, zyprexa 2.5mg.  Otherwise no matter what I cant sleep.
