effexor XR withdrawal

by please66, Jan 16, 2008 04:15PM
I have been taking this for only about four mths. 225mg daily. I decreased from 3 capsules to two for a two week period. Then from two capsules to one for another two week period. Now as of yesterday I had none, today I had to have one because of the unbearable side effects!
Are there anyway of getting of this dreadful med without feeling soooooo miserable? I guess I am looking for any helpful advice.

Slow tapering is best. If you were OK on 1. try taking 1/2 for a week or two. Then take 1/2 every other day for a week or so. Then quit. That might work better.
