I did the master cleanser or lemon cleanser /wichever one you want to call it. I did it in the spring and stayed on my meds and it worked unreal (got rid of my allergy's to lobster, shrimp, skin cleared up no zits and I lost 18lbs I also felt great and was excercising during it preatty much the best thing I ever did for my body. Since then I have gone of my meds and I'm now back on them. I take
prozac 40mgs not a xr one /this one is new again to me after a 5yr of being on celexa. I was not taking this the 1st time I fasted/
Lamactil 100 mgs /this one I just got to 100 a few days ago and also was not taking during the last fast.
adderal 20 xr (this one I know I have to watch because its a extended release and when you flush your body out like this the adderal will get washed out aswell/ I was on 40 mgs last time I fasted but went down to 20mg during the fast and have stayed with that since. I was given it mainly for energy but also a bit of add just like everyone of my age (38).
Last time I did the fast it was for 15 day's and stayed on celexa (I forgot the dosage but it wasn't that high normal) and the adderal I tapered of to 20mgs instead of 40mgs. You are supposed to wait till your toung turns back to a pinkish color it gets all white from the **** in you body. I have asked online and I have even called a radio show (some herbalist doctor on siruis satalite radio) He said as long as they weren't xr's I would be alright. I just get nervous doing it. I'm now on my 4th day and the headaches are much worse then last time (from no coffee or sugar) Im wondering if this could now be from my meds. I only drink about 1 cup of coffee a day /about 3 times a week I will have a 2nd cup/. Any information on fasting and antidepresents would be greatly appreciated. I have looked online and can't find anything. I was dignosed with severe depression and have been battleing it for about 20yrs the meds help allot but I'm still strugling with it. I'm a heathy person and excercise reguallary and have a so, so diet. Thats why I like the fast because I know my diet isn't that great. Im not doing the fast to lose any weight Im happy with the weight Im at. (although I could always lose a little around the gut but not enough to really worry about) I just like to have more energy and be in good health this way if I know its not my body that is cousing my deppression and I don't have anything to blame but my mind. Thanks I would like any help at all.
