going from 20 mg to 30 mg paxil

by momof3insprings, Feb 07, 2008 09:42AM
I have been on paxil for 8 years and now the dr. uped the dose to 30 from 20 mg.  I am so tired and feel foggy.  Shouldn't my body be used to paxil it's only an extra 10 mg a day.  Any one else have this problem.  I am thinking of just doing 20 mg a day again.  My doctor also said that the generic paxil may not be as strong or should I say to full potency as the name brand up to 20% in difference.

Try Paxil CR,  it worked wonders for me for 7 years.  Unfortunately I can't afford it anymore.  Have no insurance/job.  I take 20 mg of Paroxitine twice a day which cost me $8.  I take one in the AM when I get up and the other when I go to bed.  Keeps me from feeling tired/foggy.  I have heard the generic could be less potent too.
