help

i am having a complete nervous breakdown and have been for about 3 weeks. i am on the verge of losing my job because of this. i cant make it to work much of the time, i simply can't do it. i am under a massive amount of stress, but dont want to go into details. i need to get on medication before i really lose it.i have lost it many times, but i dont want to end up in the hospital. i would rather go another way. i was on meds before, but lost health insurance and cant afford it. and i make just too much for gov aid. i went to mental health, they can only help if i am homeless or in the hospital. i am desperate. i have no money to see a dr, no money for a prescription. i am desperate. i feel like i fell from the universe into a hole. if anyone can help me or know who will help me please respond.

thank you, but i get no benefit's at my job. no health care, no sick pay. i do agree i need some time to recover but unless i am in the hospital i will get no help. i am trying to get qualified for health insurance (that i can't afford ) though if they won't pay for preexisting, or make me wait 6 months for mental health i am screwed. i really need treatment as soon as possible.

You have an illness and you are entitled to recovery.

You are entitled to sick leave in the same way as if you had a problem with your heart.
I had the same situation (NBD) nearly 5 years ago and I am doing great now, it was a slow recovery, you need space and time to recover.

Please follow up the leads and look after yourself.

There still are coverage options such as the Medicaid Buy in for Working People with Disabilities. You could find out at your local independent living center. There's one in every county of every state. Here's a list:

There are other benefits you could be eligible for us as well. And if things get out of hand, do seek help before things get out of hand but hopefully there should be coverage options to avoid hospitalization but don't rule it out.
