how do you know what ratio wellbutrin to zoloft

I'm on 300mg of wellbutrin after coming off zoloft. My doctor is now thinking of adding back zoloft with the wellbutrin. How do you know if I should have stayed onthe zoloft and just added some wellbutrin? I understand the wellbutrin can help the zoloft work better so I would think he would left me on zoloft and introduced the wellbutrin first. I am very confused.
