My doctor prescribed DEPAKOTE CR 500 MG.  I took it for one week and could not even get out of bed.  He changed my med to LITHIUM.  I have been on it for 4 days now.  I have terrible headaches.
Is it from the DEPAKOTE OR THE LITHIUM? I am still very sleepy and tired. Will it get better? I have to work.  I am 24 years old and a male.  I also take ZOLOFT and a blood pressure med.

I am not a professional but I would say it is from both.Iused to take them and I hated them.Talk to your doc about changging meds. Are you bi polar? that is why i took them.I am now on Celexa/zyprexa combo and it has wowrked wonders with no side effects like the lithium depakote.
let me know what your doc says.
