is intermittent shortness of breath a symptom of effexor withdrawal

i have been off effexor  xr for about 3 wks. and i am having intermittent episodes of shortness of breath . i relieve these with taking several deep breaths. is this a symptom of effexor withdrawal? wuckie

I did not have this problem w/withdrawal from Effexor but that does not mean it's a symptom.  Anytime someone has problems breathing,they need to get in touch with their doctor, could be something else causing this.

Since your breathing exercise helps, I would think it is withdrawal. Anxiety will cause us to not breathe deeply enough and the breathing exercises helps with this.
