I'm not sure, do you mean necrotic bowel?  That's a question you need to ask your doctor. Some folks because of long term illness go on anti-depressants, being in better spirits will help healing. I couldn't say if you would need them long term, it depends on your psychological assessment.

Trazadone is used mostly to help sleep, it's worked wonders for me. I used to wake up in pain ever 2-3 hours. I'm not sure how it works, but it's better then a sleeping pill.(benzo's).
