Hiwas just wondering can anyone help does these symptoms sound like depression headaches, extremely tired even when just awake, hair loss, shakes, palputions, forgetfullness, sore neck very sore muscells in legs and arms, cant find energy to do anything just need to sleep all the time even smalleat job seems really hard to do.I do work full time but it kills me am good for nothing when i get home I have had an overactive thyroid but have been off my meds since july i thought it was coming back but after numerous blood tests it has stayed at normal range have just been to see my doc again today and she thinks that it could be depression she has done another 9 blood tests i have to go back in 2 weeks to decided wether i want to start anti depressents can anyone help I did take them when i had my son 6 years ago but i feel completey different now than i did then is it possible that symptoms could be different for the same thing?

alot of your symptoms sound like hypothryoid. you can be hypo even if your test come out "normal".
Do you know what your TSH numbers are? I would totally investigate being hypo before going on anti depressants. get a good endo that specializes in thyroids. good luck.I hope youfeel better soon.Let me know how it goes for you.

Thanks for replaying yes my tsh level was 0.58 and my t4 was 13.1 which they say is normal. Iam at my endo on 20th to see what he has to say then ack to doc on 21st. Hopefully will get some sort of news

Well it might be normal for some but maybe not for you.I am at my best of .1 Let me know what the doctor says and if you dont get answers, try the endo.One who treats by symptoms and not just numbers.
