wow !! that is alot of meds.  Change your doc! How on earth are you supposed to function on that much meds?  I was 5 meds when I was first dx but I am only on 2 now for bi polar and one synthroid cause I had thyroid cancer. when I was on the 5 I could barely function. go see another doc and keep me posted on what happens.

Hi there, well, you almost have to laugh!  I DID laugh at the "hmmmm" at the end of the diaformin since alot of these meds cause weight gain alone.  I have to agree with Venora, run away from this doctor and find someone who listens!    It sounds like your being written a prescription for the complaint of the moment and unfortunately, this happens all the time.  As far as the health issue goes, your kidneys or liver may be in peril and I don't think ANYONE would be able to think straight or function in any normal way on even half of what you've listed.

Gosh, good luck to you...

I went to this site and checked the interactions of most of these drugs... and I would be concerned. There were too many interactions to post here. One doctor prescribed all of this to you?  Do you get your meds at one pharmacy?  http://www.drugs.com/drug_interactions.php

Drug Interactions Checker
BackDrug interaction results for the following 11 drug(s):

guaifenesin escitalopram (Lexapro)pregabalin (Lyrica)gabapentin (Neurontin)propranolol ,pseudoephedrine,carbamazepine (Tegretol),topiramate (Topamax)
valproic acid
alprazolam (Xanax)
olanzapine (Zyprexa)
