I am not sure what you are trying to say. are you saying that this person you live with wont take their pillsor are you warning not to take the pills?
When I was first dx bi polar I would take my pills then start to feel better. tThen I would quit taking them.I was in denial about being bi polar but then I would go manic and end up in the hospital. The 3rd time I know I need to atke my pills and I have done so faithfully for 6 years now.

So tell me more about your situation and I will see what I can do to help.

Unforunatly that is a pattern that bi polars have.Being bi polar is like haveing diabetes. You have to take your meds for always. When you start to feel better it is becaus the meds are working also diet .regular rest and exercise play into bi polar also. see if you can show him this forum It helps to hear from others that are bi polar.I take my 2 pillsand that is a small price to pay to keep me out of trouble and keep me in the good place I am in now.He will have to come to terms with being bipolar as I did .Untill he does that ,there is little you can do.
Good luck
